- When and why was SMLWiki created?
at the end of 2023 i attempted to retire from the internet. whilst working on my last video, i needed a fake domain for a gag and picked smlwiki.com because it was available. i was originally going to have it redirect to the youtube video but decided that was lame, so spent 2 weeks coding the first update (original character pages ((with help from my friend Amine)), cast pages, index and house game). the satirical/parody creepypasta aesthetic was chosen to match the YTP
- Have you encountered legal (copyright) issues hosting SMLWiki?
i've heard that the crew are familiar with it, and the site is still up, so extrapolate from that what you will. i'm sure this would qualify as a parody anyway. i stick to illustrating / composing my own assets or using public domain stuff for everything else to be certain
- How did you / how can I make a website like this?
